Started playing World of Warcraft and that sucked my whole life away from any other gaming. Man I played 11 for awhile that was a fun game never got above level 40ish though. for the time it was not that bad a game, at least I liked it anyways. While I'm remembering that, I think I still have my dragonriders of pern dreamcast game lol. It was in the old style of shadowgate type stuff. There was a dos game, you might be able to still find it floating around, I think it actually wound up good old games eventually. I kinda liked the series in ways more than lord of the rings at the time actually, which I was also reading in my teens. The different worlds of the deathgate books and the way the sartan and patryn magics worked was pretty cool to me, especially the patryns tatting it up on themselves. I named a toon in final fantasy 14 after zifnab lol. I wound up only finishing the last two books in the late 2000s though, around 2008 or 2009 I think. I first got into the deathgate series when I was about 16, maybe 17 in the 90s. It was pretty neat seeing that in multiple games, since it was a pretty low chance considering the amount of servers. On final fantasy 11, and even on final fantasy 14 (they were two different people, I'd asked the ff14 one if he was the same guy and said he wasn't) I ran into people on toons named Haplo. wound up getting a third about a week or two ago and vaulted him just in case of a future fusion or two of them turning out to be busted as hell in something down the road. I threw tomes into my apoth until he had one slot left and I ran out of books, threw the second apoth into him to top him off.
